Question

Among the four main forms of existence of life recognized in Jainism, which one of the following is not included?

Accepted Answer

The four Gatis (forms of existence) in Jainism are: Manushya Gati (humans), Deva Gati (heavenly beings/gods), Tiryancha Gati (animals, plants, micro-organisms), and Naraki Gati (infernal/hell beings). Yakshas are classified as Vyantar Devas (intermediary celestial beings), a sub-category within the broader Deva Gati, not one of the four primary Gatis.
